Born and raised in Clearwater BC with Wells Gray Provincial Park at my doorstep and winters spent at Sun Peaks, photography had a big impression on me from a young age; Growing up, it was rare to find me without a camera in my hands. Beautiful landscapes all around inevitably facilitated a career in landscape photography and developed my love of travel. 
Capturing the beauty around me has taken me to many interesting places throughout the world. This, in turn, developed a love of photographing the infinite in the faces, emotions and connections between people. A natural progression from here brought me into wedding photography, and I love it! I am able to focus on combining my two favourite subjects – people, and dramatic landscapes. Combine that with some crisp, golden light and art happens. A few random facts:
    • I love finding last minute flight deals

    • I had my cat shaped camera stolen in Disney Land at age 9 – any information on its whereabouts would be much appreciated.
    • Bears are awesome animals… spectacular… I love them.
    • I drink large amounts of tea (and a very knowledgeable on coffee although I do not drink it)
    • Sleep does not factor into my life very much
    • Mountains and oceans bring instant smiles to my face
    • I see the world in photographs. I can’t turn it off.
    • A bag of Miss Vicky's Salt and Vinegar chips makes any drive the best
    • I love photojournalism and have a huge respect for people who can write well.
    • I have been blessed with amazing, genuine friends and family
